I believe so strongly in this show and this campaign and despite what happens I’ll be able to live with myself knowing that I did, at the very least, try. 

I interrupt your Oscar flails to bring you the 8 paper lotuses I made for the #savethehour campaign, on which I split the last stanza of the e.e cummings poem, and for the little ones, added the usual hashtag/urls. 

my thumb is killing me but it was worth it. 

though the origami paper I had was crappy and too thick, but I managed.

Here for your nostalgia/birthday pleasure are basically my favourite things you have ever said/done (I mean, the face, do I have to clarify?) in an attempted halfsies between hilarious and poignant [you and chris are one of the very few irl otps I allow myself so sue my romantic ass].

And of course an homage to your favourite quote from lfa, because let’s be serious I’ll never be able to read it again without thinking of you. I know we don’t really know each other and I don’t know why in the hell you decided I was worth following seriously how do you stand me but I just wanted to thank you in the most tangible way I could think of, for everything you’ve given me.

I’m not just talking about the make up tips, heaven knows I still am crap at it, but also for the courage to own who I am, shit at makeup/fandom disaster/not ready for real life me. It honestly baffles me that we’re only a few months apart in age and yet you seem so much older than me? Because you’re confident where I’m not and strong when I doubt I could be and so unabashedly unashamed of who you are - I can only hope I’ll be there in May when I hit the albeit-meaningless-in-Canada ol’ 21. 

Thanks for teaching me so much, in makeup and in life, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things life has in store for you.
